Amazon Prime Day is finally upon us on June 21-22, 2021! Now is the time to stock up on those organizational items that you have waiting to go on sale. This Organized Home has scoured Amazon to bring you all the best deals this year.
Here is our curated list of the best deals on all things organizing for your home, work, kids, and everything in between. If you are new to Prime Day, this is one of the BEST days of the year to shop for amazing sale items on Amazon with prices that are even better than Black Friday. So now is the perfect time to get your hands on items you have been eyeing and dying to try.

WHAT IS PRIME DAY?
Prime Day is basically Amazon’s very own version of Black Friday. It’s become a massive shopping event, and one of the most popular sales of the year.
As the name implies, Prime Day is an annual exclusive two-day sale in which Amazon offers major discounts across all of its product categories for the full 48 hours for Amazon Prime members. Make sure to look out for these deals during the event to get the most bang for your buck.
Spotlight Deals include popular items from the top brands stocked with larger inventories available until they sell out. Preview these items now and add them to your wishlist or cart.
Lightning Deals offer great products at steep discounts for a VERY limited time. These usually have a limited supply and the sale only lasts for 5 minutes. You can view Lightning Deals 24 hours before they are launched and if you add them to your cart and wishlist, Amazon will ping you when the deals go live.
Pre-Prime Day and Post-Prime Day Deals in the weeks before and after the sale
However, to get all of the advantages of the annual markdowns, you have to be an Amazon Prime Member. Amazon is offering a 30-day free trial and a $13 a month membership after that period. If you find yourself frequently shopping on Amazon or have a specific item that you would want, the memberships are a great value with free shipping and additional year-round perks. If you’re not already a member, here’s everything you need to know about how to sign up in time for Prime Day.
WHEN IS PRIME DAY?
Amazon Prime Day is June 21-22, 2021.
Prime Day starts on Monday, June 21 at 12:00 A.M PDT (3:00 A.M. EDT).
Prime Day ends on Tuesday, June 22 at 11:59 p.m. PDT (Wednesday, June 23 at 2:59 A.M. EDT) — some deals typically extend a few hours into the following morning
You will have 48 hours to make the most of this year's sale with the site-wide discounts.
Keep in mind that there has been speculation that there might be two Prime Day events this year with the second taking place in the fall, but Amazon has not announced anything yet. So make sure to take part in this sale in June.
There will also be early deals leading up to the main event, and some are already live! You can see all of the current deals here.
I will be updating this page with some of the best deals as they are announced! The sheer volume of deals available all at once is really overwhelming which is why I put together this list to help you sort through the noise and quickly find deals you’re interested in.
CAN YOU STILL SHOP WITHOUT A PRIME MEMBERSHIP?
If you do not have a Prime membership: You can still take advantage of the deals and free two-day shipping by signing up for a 30-day trial if you are brand new to Prime. But you must have Prime membership or the free trial of it to snag deals!
If you previously had a Prime membership before, but do not have one currently: Don't worry you can still take advantage of the Prime Day deals without paying for an entire year membership. Monthly Prime memberships are offered by Amazon that can easily be recouped in Prime Day savings. Just make sure to cancel it before the end of the month!
Discounted Prime Memberships: These are available for those on government assistance and for an .edu email address.
Sharing Prime Memberships: Two adults can also share one Prime membership if they link their accounts with Amazon Household.
Remember: Prime Day is exclusive to Amazon Prime members. So make sure you sign up for your free 30-day trial so you can shop the sale!
WHAT ITEMS ARE ON SALE FOR PRIME DAY?
Prime Day is a site-wide sale, so you can expect deals across all categories including technology, beauty, fashion, and even home. The Prime Day Deals are not announced prior to the event, so it can be hard to speculate what items are included in the sale. That said, I can make some predictions based on what we’ve seen in previous years.
Prime Day will feature more than two million deals globally including items like:
Electronics like Kindles, Echos, FitBits, etc. (lots of Amazon devices!)
Instant Pots and Cookware

Beauty Items (including Biolage, Mizani, and Pureology up to 40% off)

HOW CAN I GET READY FOR PRIME DAY?
Sign up for Amazon Prime if you do not have an account now.
Download the Amazon App on your phone or device to get access to even more ways to save. Log in for the first time, and you’ll get a $10 credit! You can use the Amazon app to add items you would like to purchase by placing them on your waitlist and then be notified when it goes on sale. Click here to get the app.
Look into the preview of deals by searching "sneak peek" in the Amazon App.
Keep an eye out for items you want by tapping the "watch this deal" button on items in the Amazon app. You will get an alert when the sale is LIVE.
Share your membership. Amazon lets you share your Prime benefits at no additional cost with one additional member of your household with Amazon Household.
Bookmark this page of Lightning Deals. These items go quickly and are only in limited quantities.
Be proactive and make a list of items you need or want to purchase. Click “Add To List” on those items and if/when they go on sale, you’ll get a notification on the app! Pays to plan ahead!
Turn on notifications on your phone to get notified when deals go live. Tap the app’s main menu (three bars in the upper left corner), then tap Settings > Notifications > enable Personalized Notifications.
